๐ The short version: Use the app fairly, don't abuse it, pay for Pro if you want unlimited access. These terms are straightforward.
By downloading or using What Do I Cook, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Do I Cook lets you save recipe links from social media platforms and websites into a personal recipe library. The app stores links and information you provide โ it does not host or reproduce any recipe content itself.
You can use the app anonymously or sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Anonymous accounts are stored only on your device until you sign in with Google โ if you uninstall the app without signing in, your data is lost.
Simple pricing. No surprises.
The app offers two plans:
Pro subscriptions are billed annually through Google Play. You can cancel anytime from your Google Play subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period. When a Pro subscription expires, your existing recipes and collections remain accessible โ you just can't add new ones beyond the free limits.
These limits exist to ensure fair use for all users. Automated saving, scripting, or any non-human use of the app to accumulate recipes is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
You agree not to:
You are responsible for the links and content you save. We don't review what you save. We store recipe links and your personal notes โ we don't host the underlying recipe content, which remains on the original platform.
You retain full ownership of any notes, ratings, and personal data you add inside the app.
What Do I Cook saves links to content hosted on third-party platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of those links. If a platform removes a video, the saved link in your library will no longer work.
We aim to keep the app running reliably, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, change, or temporarily suspend the app at any time. We'll try to give notice for significant changes.
What Do I Cook is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including data loss, service interruptions, or third-party content issues.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
